Re: Replacing Rod Rings
just had a look at the link you posted you could buy a new one for the price of a cheap set of guides.
£20ish for guides £20ish for high build and £4ish for thread so it will work out at £44ish and then what ever that is in yo yos its not worth it

Re: Replacing Rod Rings
Chuck that in the bin and buy a half decent 3 or 4 piece, or a good 2 piece .y2krog2000 wrote:Have a wee rod I got for putting in the suitcase and the rings are starting to come off, wanting to put some better ones on has anyone any advice on what ones or size to buy, this is the rod http://www.tacklebargains.co.uk/acatalo ... -5249.html

Re: Replacing Rod Rings
Cheers for the replys I have a half decent rod as well as this one, this fits down to about 40cm so can take it as hand luggage and that is the reason that I bought it, it dosent matter if the rings are dearer than the rod if I buy another rod then the same thing will probably happen, if I put good rings on I am hoping it will be fine.
