Lost gear Black Head
Was fishing the rocks at the lighthouse in Black Head this afternoon and was parked in the layby on the road right across from the lighthouse.
Like a fool I left my rucksack down while putting the rods in the car and never picked it up.
All my newly acquired gear for lure fishing was in the rucksack.
There was about €200 worth of lures, leads etc.
I know the chances are slim but if anyone picked it up could you please pm and there will be a monetary reward paid for recovery of it.
I have been unemployed now for months and cant afford to replace the gear so I said its worth a try posting here.
Thanks

Re: Lost gear Black Head
I suppose it just depends PJ who picked it up...you could get lucky that it was a decent individual but unfortunately the chances these days are that it was a wan*er who was delighted with a bag of free gear. I haven't been up around Black Head in a few years but I believe the clientelle isn't great these days !!! I presume it's Black Head in Co. Clare that you're talking about ?

Appreciate you making the few inquiries.
Thanks for the very kind offer of gear but I should be getting a few bits from Red today and a couple of lads have promised a few bits also.
Cheers again for your offer.
