Re: Anything happening in Donegal?
Sea Trout fishing was fantastic up till Saturday, then it just completely switched off. Never seen so much silt in the water before. I blame that near-gale easterly we had. Haven't been back at it since.

No need for a tripod for the seatrout... but the licence is a bit pricey at 56 but cheaper than the fine and losing your rod

The only place in letterkenny that supply the license is joe bids down the Main Street...I'll enquire tomorrow or Friday!...at 56 quid..the license will be worth more than the rod!

To get back to topic, I fished Rathmullan pier this evening for 2.5 hours starting at high tide got one dog, serious bit of weed about I was ready for home after a hour but I stuck with it. There were 2 of us fishing 6 rods in total. The doggie was caught on manky mack on a 3/0 pennel.mackfish wrote:Anyone out n about in donegal?..around the swilly or sheephaven bay??
