I Fished rathmullan pier last wed night from 6:30 to 9 i dont remember when it was high tide but it was around that time, I was using squid and mackerel. 2 of us were fishing 4 rods in total and not one bite between us that was my first session down there, one thing i will say is use a big grip lead the current down there is crazy. Let me know how you get on down there as i think i will leave it for another few weeks before going back.

I think that's an idea to give a few weeks for water to warm up a bit, forecast is promising better weather next week, so it may pick up a bit and then we'll see what's in it.

Thanks

Hello lad,
I`ve fished Buncrana pier lots of times.
It`s too cold at the moment, usually around may, Fish`s well.
Using sandeel, Mack, is a great bet for thornbacks.
Top of the peir, right handside cast out towards the mouth of the lough.
day or nite i find they`ll take. Pennel rig, is the best method for me.

hope this helps.
