Reel Seats/Coasters

#1 Post by PJKaiser »

I purchased a new rod recently - Shakespeare Agility Long Surf - 15ft - £79.99.
There doesn't seem to be a facility on it to move the reel seat up/down the rod.
Are some rods just "fixed" in this respect?
Are there any rods of a similar price range/size with moveable reel seats that someone could recommend?
Cheers,
PJ

Could you use a multiplier if you wished or would it not work at all well?

ye it should be okish but you wont get the best out of the rod.
go to your local tackle shop and see if they will swap it for a multi rod of the same price
