bably ling ?

Caught this from a beach last night, the shape and tail made me think it was a baby ling but not 100%. Strange dent on the top of the fish.

thanks for the replies, I thought it might have been a rockling, but didnt notice any of the barbules on the head. I suppose the only unusual thing was the dentation on the head of the fish. We had some whiting aswell.

5 bearded rockling...There`s a small dorsal fin that folds back hiding in that "dent"
