hi folks. myself and the other half are going to salt hill for the paddys weekend and she said i can take my rods with me if want.
so i don't need telling twice they will be the first things to go in the car. the question is do i take the lure gear or the surf gear
and where would be a good place to fish.also where can i get fresh bait if needed. any pms or replies gratefully accepted
I'd say don't bother with the rods, the weather is supposed to be brutal, northerly winds up to gale force, hail, sleet and snow showers and the felt temperature could be around minus 8 - better stay warm in one of the pubs, enjoy a few hot whiskeys and keep collecting brownie points until better times arise
