Hi Pete,

Does the cold weather have much effect on collecting razors? We went out on the lowest tide Monday morning to collect some (to a spot we saw 100's only 2 weeks ago in the warm weather) and there wasn't even a sign of a hole but there was a biting cold north easterly wind howling down the beach and could only put it down to that!

I'm not sure Paul, I'd imagine you'd be talking really severe cold weather before they'd be affected? Could be the place your hunting them has been well picked. Went out again today, different spot, got them again but took a lot longer to pop up after salting, 15 minutes and more.

It's definitely not being picked as i can see it from my window! We were walking the dogs there on the last spring tide and it was littered with holes and plenty of razors shifting sand or spurting water when you went close so they were just under the surface. I was expecting a bucket full and could only blame the cold! Will try again when it warms up
