Re: east coast tubot
Saw loads of them one calm sunny day last may on Gormanston Beach, up to about 15 cm dia... They were as numerous as the flounders that day!! Heard of a guy catching one at laytown a few years ago. I'm thinking small fish are the best way to go as I've read that they eat sand gobies....

Plenty around meath louth coast two years ago. Had four or five any day I tryed for them up to 30cm. Caught the odd one or two in Wexford too alltho they were smaller. Small hooks with small Mackerel strips about a inch long.
