Going for some cod!!!
Was thinking of bringing my small fella cod fishing at the weekend, it seems like Cork is the closest place they are getting them from me, do I fish off a pier for them or beach and will 2/3 hook flappers do for them??? will treat any help with strictest confidence

pulley rigs biggish bait fresh crab a must there a spot called ferry pont m8 ive fished it once b4 but got brought to it so dnt knw dirrections hope this helps bud n u and ur young lad get a few fish

not so sure about the old reliable spots, check out east coast venues, weather, temperature and accumulation of food for cod seems to play a big part in their presence at the moment.

Any of the youghal spots are capable of producing at the moment, depending on the age of your kid you might be more comfortable and safe along the quays in youghal if you decide youghal is your destination

If you want to be gaurented to catch a cod fish the wall at monkstown with crab, therse no size in any of the cod there avg 1-2 lb but there is alot of them.
