Skerries Harbour Sun 6th - No Good

#1 Post by colin08 »

People:Myself

Duration:3 hrs

Tide:Low To High

Weather:Calm

Bait:Fresh Razor, Fresh Squid

Rigs:2/3 Hook Flapper

Results:Nil

Report:

Went up to Skerries for 1st outing of the year in hope just to land anything Codling, Whiting, Coalie etc.
Fished for 3 hours from Low to High and resulted in nothing. Not even a Pull. Crabs nibbling at bait all night!

Anyone else catching any Codling, Whiting etc along North Dub?
Fishing always seems to be very poor around these areas.

I did however witness A Seagull resting on Top of the Water getting Gobbled Up by something! It leapt about 3 foot out of water and made an almighty splash but was too dark to see excatly what it was. Prob a seal.
Species List 2015

Sea Trout, Bass, Turbot
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
