Donegal Bay - Baits?

I'm guessing mackerel is still as good as ever for fishing the beaches? If not, what is everyone else using at the minute?

mackeral is the main one i use but frozen lug is working well for me to but sandeel not so much, hope that helps . i also here maddies but have tried and fresh lug and rag ,i think there more a boat thing.

aye some nice flounder about but sadly thats all i seem to be gettinbut always better than blank..

in fairness lad i would listen to cathal, man knows what he's talkin about! an is one of those anglers who if your in doubt ask him cause he's not afraid to tell ya or help if he can ,pity we can't say that about more .
