Courtown conditions

Hi,

Planning a trip from Dublin tomorrow to courtown, anybody have any idea what the sea condition are like, rough??? Fishible???? Weed???

Any help would be very grateful!

Was walking the dogs on the beach last night sea was calm ice cold breeze havent seen much weed latley but loads of stuff washed up like sticks and shellfish was goin to have a cost only it start pissing rain

Thanks a million for the info.

Went down and fished the pier for most of the evening, a lot of fish but very small, couple of decent size flounder. That was about the best of it, all the rest bait stripping whiting! Was hoping to maybe gay a cod if any in the area!

Best chance of a decent Cod from the shore would be Cork or Waterford id say they should be arriving in shore soon there have already been a few reports of a few fish turning up.

fishing for the cod lately is very slow

its been slow alright but the cold weather might start to bring them a bit closer in to shore. well i bloody hope so. :lol:

im hoping myself mate but yeah its defo getting colder now alright time to really wrap up :)
