Carlisle cobh
Hi lads was thinking of heading down to cobh this weekend thinking of fishing Carlisle area. Never fished this area from the shore and was wondering has anybody fished this area with any luck? Was looking at google maps and first impression was deep water and rocky, any bit of help would be great pm me if you like thanks

SORRY I CANT HELP,
I USED TO BE IN THE NAVY DOWN THERE AND WOULD HAVE FISHED MOST OF CORK HBR BUT I NEVER FISHED CARLISLE,THE ONLY THING I KNOW ABOUT IT IS ITS NOT AN EASY WALK DOWN TO THE SHORE.

i used to fish there it isnt that deep i used to get cod , dog fish and the odd bass. crab is the best bait down there just watch the walk down.

whereabouts in Cobh is that and has anyone got any cod at Cobh, I was thinking of heading down to cork harbour somewhere to catch one, I have never fished for them???

If your fishing cork harbor fish monkstown its your best bet.
