Slipways of wexford, where are they...
Hi,
am trying to see what slipways are around wexford that you can launch from. All i can think of off the top of my head are
Wexford town (across the bridge)
Killurin
Kilmore
Slade (tidal )
Fethard (i think)
Arturstown.
Court town.
I know that there are more out there so can anyone add to this list and state if it needs to be tidal to launch ??

There is one at Carne Harbour just north of Carnesore Point. The slip is only useful at high tide, I don't think I have ever seen it being used apart for the large industrial boats. Everyone uses the shallow beach to launch and retrieve. Great fishing just off the south coast in view of the Saltees.

"The Safe" near Rosslare Harbour has a slip. I know you have to be a resident of the townland to moor there, but I think the slip is available to the public

Slade Harbour, near the Hook lighthouse. Thinks it tidal though.
Serendipity, Saint kieran's. Slip is tidal, but can can from the beach off it.

Cahore is the best slip for North Wexford. It's not nearly as steep as Courtown. You won't be able to use it in any kind of NE wind though. Can be used at any stage of the tide, and there's good Tope, Smoothound & Ray fishing within a mile of the Pier.

Theres one in St.Helens pier aswell, I'd love to see someone launch a boat off it though!
