Hi Glenn,

I'm suprised that you had only dogs from Greystones pier. Few days ago, I got a nice pollack and my first rockling there. Small codlings too. All the fishes were caught just few meters from the wall.

2011 : pollack
2012 : whiting, dogfish, gurnard, flounder, smooth hound, poor cod, pollack, ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, goldshinny wrasse, blenny, bass, codling, rockling, dab, pouting, pollack, sea scorpion

South beach Greystones can fish good at this time of year just right of the tunnel from the car park.

Probably between 70 - 100 yards if you want a chance of a cod. closer in you might see a few coalies turn up.

we had some cracking coalies around 2.5lbs from the boat off greystones a couple of weeks ago,so there is a good chance of decent ones from the shore
