Woodies tripod any good?

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

in my personal opinion they are ok quality but with the daiwa and shakespeare models retailing at 50 euro its not great for the money .If their was a few quid off it might be worth a punt .Both other models mentioned have a much sturdier build for not much more money

well eoin,,sorry i missed you the last day,,,,,,,if you add a 5 euro to your 35 you will get a salt tripod,,i think there in the shops for 45 or something but put 40 across his snout and he wont say no,,be certainly better than a woodies one,,,had one meself and found them grand and sturdy,,,well able to take a bit of wind and not falling over all the time
