hi lads planning on a trip fri evening to fish 1 of these beaches has anyone had any fish there recently and whats the best state of tide to fish there thanks for any info in advance any help would be great

Hi Darren,
no the wink is'nt saying there are fish down there,just basically saying that unless your fishing in darkness you will be wasting your time.The fishing down here the last while has been tough going in general with the odd decent session thrown in but only after a bit of frustration [but thats fishing].
Best thing would be try it for yourself ,you just might get lucky.

If your fishing in garryvoe fish around the pipe thats just to the right of the hotel u,ll be able to park right close to it and fish into the night,ballingwilling is a great spot,and a good area for digging good quality lugworm.

thanks for the tips again lads change of mind and fished myrtiville beach instead 2 dogs and plenty of 3inch witing to strip my lug definatly must give that area a go over the next few weeks
