Tope
Could some one with experience of catching tope from the shore put some tips up ,eg ,when,were ,whatgear rods real line trace wire or mono.Thanks would love to get one from the shore

getting a bit late now from the shore mate,,,especially if your in the west,,they tend to move offshore here in june/july,not saying you wont still get one,best bet is probably off the beaches,,,theres always one lol,,no harm getting the info thou,,,,,,march and april would be our best months in the west here,,,i missed it this year

only gets going on the east coast around the end of October. try Kilcoole on a slack tide with a wire trace.
