flounder spoons ?

#1 Post by sandblaster »

just wondering if anybody has any experience of using flounder spoons from the shore (i.e. the plastic or metal ones mounted behind a baited hook and retrieved along the seabed).i know they are used from boats but surely they must be good from the shore on clean ground? any info on this method?cheers,
noel.

Not too sure about the spoon mounted behind the bait. I know the spoon above the bait can be extremely successful especially on slow days or if you are solely targeting flounder.

They can work iv had flounders follow them to the surface of the water fishing bray pier but they never took the bait
