Visiting Dunmore East..and looking for fish !!

Myself and my mate are staying in Dunmore east from the 1st till the 5th october, and am looking for any info on good fishing marks around this area, I am from cornwall so am use to fishing rock marks as well as beaches, also any info on where to dig bait would be appreciated. I visited Dingle in oct 2010(Daiwa pairs week) and posted a similar request on this site before that visit and was really pleased with the info I recieved, one guy even arranged to meet up with us one day and showed us a couple of good marks and told us where to get our worms,The fishing that week was very poor due to the amount of weed everywhere, but we still had a good time.
We will have transport so will be able to travele a reasonable distance from our base. Thanks Garry

Hi Garry lots of great marks close by from beach to estuary to rock.

On route from Waterford to Dunmore you will pass the Waterford Outdoor and Angling Centre, John or Richie will gladly assist with everything you need to know and where to go etc.

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply and the info. I will call in and see the guys on my way through, its good to hear there are some good marks in the area,after the bad conditions on our ast visit im looking forward to making up for it this time round. Cheers
