Hi all,


Can anyone tell me is it worth freezing down lugworm,if so what would be the best way to do it.

If you freeze them from fresh they will defrost as mush . Blow lug , that is . Black lug can be frozen once degutted .

Ya blow lug is a disaster frozen, I heard a tip from a very keen angler I know. He said he puts left over live blow lug on a hooks and binds them with elastic thread and then freezes them. When he is stuck he brings them out and reuses them he just sticks the hooks back on the rigs and claims he has often caught plenty bass and flatties with them. Worth a go for sure.
