Newcastle beach 6/9 weed but fishable .
Give a man a fire he will be warm for a night,

: whiting,pouting,dab,shore rockling,5xb beard rockling,flounder,dogfish,grunt,white sea bream,banded sea bream,black damselfish,blue damselfish, ornate wrasse,lizard fish,sea trout,red gurnard,bass,tornback ray smoothhound,Corkwing wrasse,poor cod,ballon wrasse,cod,pollock,conger,spotted ray,bullhuss,mackerel ,tub gurnard,place,lesser weever,

was walking dogs at lunchtime on rosslare strand - few sprigs of weed in water yesterday

could be a sign of lot more...

Anyone know if there is much weed in greystones north or south beaches?
SPECIES 2011: (7) Dogfish, Mackerel, Cod, Pollock, European Eel, Common Blenny, Pin Whiting

SPECIES 2012: (7) Whiting, Coalie, Pollock, Mackerel, Ballan Wrasse (32cm x2, 34cm, PB 38cm) , Corkwing Wrasse, Three-Bearded Rockling

Was down killmore early on farly dirty didnt boder casting out knew I'd get hassle, so headed to the white hole just around the order side caught small smooth hound and a 5-6 flounder, wasn't the best nights fishing...!!! Oh yeah friend had what looked like a bite on his rod and pulled in a dead bird highlight of the night haha...

Was thinking of heading there on Weds night will keep an eye on the wind so.
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

Thinking of fishing Greystones this weekend. Anyone know if there is much weed on the beaches?

weed was 3 foot deep at the white hole on the beach early during the week and totally unfishable courtown was ok!
