I recently split the joint on the upper section of my Daiwa Sandstorm 12ft multiplier version were the two rod sections meet due to some over zealous casting while trying to get the hang of using the multiplier. I just want to know is it fit for the bin or is there any way of repairing the damage. The split is about an inch or so long on the "female" part of the joint.
Any advice would be appreciated!

If you can get the rod out to bray I can have a look most likely I can fix it I get rods in with the same prob all the time
