I've used my fair share of leader knots over the years and I'm now using the reversed albright as described in previous posts... 8 turns up and... 8 turns down and pass the line back through the loop the same way as the line coming up . I use it on tapered shockleader and the knot is pretty neat. The problem I find with it is you need to trim the tag end very neat cause it faces in the direction of the line flow. I would not use this knot on a standard leader cause the knot would be too bulky. Having said that I have found this knot very strong and comparable in strength to the Bimimini twist as mentioned in previous posts.
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

Blob knot. Started using it this year and very happy with it. Low profile and strong.

Good old fashioned blood knot or modified albright can't be beaten me thinks
