Fish id

Hi lads,

Fishing for mullet with maddies in a cork estuary and caught this...

Any ideas?? Probably a juvenile of something I've already caught but hopefully not....

Seen something very similar caught at a comp last month in Kerry. The lads had it down as a baby dragonet.
The way to a fisherman's heart is through his fly...

Cheers lads - had an offsite id of sand goby too and looking at pics of them I'd say it probably is.

Just to confuse matters...it could be a common goby. Nearly identical species and practically impossible to i.d. without a microscope! :roll:
