open to correction...........but i think the top ones a turbo......others could be goby or blenny????? get onto donal domney from the site hes always on the ball with the id's...........and theres a way of differentiating a flounder from a dab, got to do with the lateral line and roughness of the skin.........someone else could elaberate on this more for ya as to me it dont make a difference i calls em all flounder lol..............

1. Turbot, too round to be a Brill did it have hard little bumps on the skin?
2. Not a great pic. But 1 single dorsel fin a blenney's of sorts, 2 dorsel fins a goby of sorts,
3. dragonet, Would need to see the first dorsel fin to call it male or female
4. flounder, there seem to be some rough marks on the lateral line

Open for debate

1. Turbot for sure
2. Rock goby (not sure due to pic)
3. Dragonet for sure
4. Dab pretty sure (Its too round and not fluke shaped, for a flounder)

Dab has a semicircular shaped lateral line at the pectoral fin. Camera shine either obscures this or it is not there.

thanks for all the replies lads,i did feel some kind of bump on the turbot but didn't do too much looking as i was unhooking because there were four kids under 5 nearly getting caught on the hooks as well
i was thinking the last one was a dab as he was a lot lighter in color then any flounder i got at the mark before,i went back again last night and caught him again to double check what he was, brought the good cam this time
dab1.JPG
dab2.JPG
never caught a dab before and now caught 2 in two nights :D
the dragonet is also a new species for me,wish some one had told me about the spikes on it
