Going up to Inishowen next week any mac near Leenin, Buncrana or Culdaff ??? :?:

A few around Culdaff pier and I heard Moville pier is fishing well for them also
2011 species so far
coalfish,plaice,dab flounder,turbot,sea trout,thornback ray,pollock,ling,mackeral

i was in leenan all last weekend mate, very poor fishing with just 3 mackerel being caught all weekend.

i'd give it a miss man. we were up a few weeks back and had a crap one at fahan then up to lenan. 9 hours fishing between 4 rods for one dab and a baby conger :cry: dunno whats going on up there at the moment :?:

Plenty at Malin Head pier with coalie and pollack as well.

Loads of Mack at movile pier!
Al, red tide has affected the west side of inishowen, east facing side is gran.

I fished Moville Pier last night and not one Mack. Heading down tonight for another bash at them.

Last time we hit Moville Pier most mack were being caught off the back of it and fairly close in. Float-fished sandeels were best, trotted with the flooding tide.

It seems the East side of Inishowen is catching a few but the swilly seems to be empty

plenty mackerel at buncrana pier. sat 18th. i was there for about an hour. pier was packed though.
packed on sunday evening as well. plenty being caught.
