How heavy is this Bass????????? https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.ak
https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 4846_n.jpgHi all.. Recently ventured out beach fishing for the first time in over 3 years. As a result we forgot, or had lost, nearly half the gear. Tip lights, scales etc,. Anyway, on the last cast I hooked this beauty and I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimation of the weight. I reckon its between 3-4 pound but as I said it's been a while since I was fishing, so I don't know. Cheers (excuse the poor pic quality+rag in the way..Fish was returned alive and well to the Irish Sea)

Only my opinion but your hand is wider than the span of its tail and the fish is at arms length, I would guess a pound lighter but I never held the fish and pictures are deceiving, if I am wrong I would be happy for I would have been underestimating my own fish for years.
The Truth is often stumbled upon by men, most of whom pick themselves up and hurry along as if nothing ever happened.

I'm with Charlie and Donal on this one, fish pushed too much towards the camera, 2lb at best, no taking away from the catch though, well done
