Fahan Beach, Donegal - 15/04/06

People: Beachcaster, Topbox, Vip, Lee337, PeteKD, Bo0galoo, Me

Duration: 12pm - 5pm

Tide: Over low.

Weather: Showery, Sunny Spells, No serious wind

Bait: Mackeral, Sandeel, Ragworm, Squid, WD40

Rigs: Various

Results: 2 Dogs, 1 Thorny, 1 Crab, 1 Sea Snail


Report: Good days craic with a load from the forum in attendance, The Rays stayed away, except for the 7lb6oz Fish Beachcaster managed to get. Petekd and VIP managed a Doggy each, Pity there wasn't many fish about,

Thanks to VIP for the Gourmet Burgers, and Hotdogs! It was nice to meet one of the Forum members from the other end of the Country, hope to fish with you again some time Pete!

I'll end by telling you all the Beachcaster is the Jamiest sod you'll ever meet on a Beach...

good day out ,would like to thank john and julie for the bbq well appreciated .could do with one on every outing ,johns turn to cook next though.grub wont have that black look about it .lol only jokeing julie it was super.

no problem julie very glad of the bbq great idea.park as far over as you can mate and its about 600/700 yards after that.

Good to put a few faces to names etc, enjoyed the couple of hours alright. BTW that LSD wasnt so much caught as lassooed.....never saw such a mess of a rig as that made, its no wonder there was no kick off it.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

what!! you mean not every one has a bbq when on outings??? oh dear i think us at the Galway Bay SAC are being spoilt, the clubs secretary always has a gas BBQ in the back of the car (not even a disposable one, but a good one for us), i don't know what we'd do if he showed up with out it, there'd probably be a riot!!! :shock: :shock:

this was a proper gas bbq mate ,and it was not a club outing just a gather up from all arts and parts,aparrently john and julie take the bbq quite often no matter where they go.i know i and the guys there enjoyed it and it was most welcome.thanks again john and julie.
