Fish Id (New Zealand)

#1 Post by fishy1987 »

Hey Folks,
Hoping someone can help me out with this fish,A small one for the Fishtank but still VERY curious to know what it is!

Caught it a few months back in Auckland and at the time was told by a man fishing next to me that it was probably a Parrot Fish,

Allthough looking online i am beginnging to doubt it!

It looks like a Wrasse but yet again im not getting much joy identifying it online.Hope Someone might be able to help me out even though its a long shot :D cheers
