Report:
Well my luck didn't change but I did witness a very big bass being caught and landed by Anthony. I must admit I was very jealous. However, I've not witnessed a bigger bass being caught and landed before so it was quite a privilege. The fish was taken at 05:30 on a pale/dark water monitor fished from a shingle shore into a deep corner between two weed beds. It was the only fish of the day. Other than that we didn't have one take or follow. In fact we didn't even see another fish

The fish was returned and swam away a little slowly but seemed in very good condition.
Anthony asked me what weight I thought it was and I guessed at least 10lbs.
We've since been given other estimates - guesses anyone?
Tight lines,
John D.
