County Down Mackerel?
Just wondered if anyone is catching Mackerel on the County Down or Louth coast? When I saw the reports of Killer Whales in Lough Swilly, I was hoping they were following massive Mackerel shoals coming in from the Atlantic, heading for the Irish Sea.

The mackerel are in all around the county down coast, I was just outside downpatrick fishing last Sunday and caught 10 an about an hour. They are not in great numbers but they are in. (Few big ones too)

They are in at greenore but not in great numbers, so they are probably in at kilkeel/greencastle etc as well...
