Rod repair around Cork ?

Tip ring broke, anyone around able to fix it and whats the rough prices ?
Have Daiwa Seahunter X rod.

Few people you could go to.......dan in halfway, kinsale road roundabout cork angling centre, peter horne on the old blarney road.................only a couple of euros i suspect ta get it done.

Or you could do it yourself... Its Easy
Tip rings are usually held in place with hot-melt glue, so just run a lighter under it for 2-3 seconds and it should slide off,
then just measure the diameter of the tip, on most Daiwa rods its usually 3.6mm or 3.8mm, and most tip rings are a size 10mm (actual ring size) so it would be something like 3.6mm bore x 10m ring) and just get a new one and hot glue it back in place and thats that... Simples!

Its always advisable to carry spare tips so if it happens while out fishing so you can fix it there and then and keep on fishing..

HI just dont use super glue (just in case u will need to change the guide again....),

Hardware shop,maybe 2euro shop? i payed around 5e for 10 sticks,they look like softish round klear plastic ,normaly is a tool for this but i use lighter

Bring it to dan in the halfway. Hell do it for you if you buy the tip off him. Ring first to make sure he has a suitable tip
