camping around white lady

hi lads i will be over fishing the lady in 2 weeks and was looking to camp somewere that night and fish aswell does anyone know anywere that might suit a gang of about 8 people to camp and fish for ray or huss not to far from the white lady or even somewere we could set up during the day and fish away without having to move

whilst not at the white lady, there is a good camping site , properly serviced, at claddaghduff outside clifden. there is good rock fishing for macks,pollack ,wrasse and clean ground for bottom fishing on north side of site all on site!!! the site is called actons camp site 095 44036.ps... i am not the owner but i do live close by!!!!

thanks for the reply but i am not into camp sites just looking for somewere to pitch the tents have a few beers and a small camp fire and fish away maybe a beach if you know anywere local near to clifden that might be of any use to me

I stayed here before and its a gem of a spot......i was absolutly torn ta bits i didnt bring a rod with me when i saw the place IDEAL for ur lure rod......and i saw few lads the day i was leaving ground baiting i was disgusted i didnt bring anything with me not even the lure rod like.......i wont make the same mistake twice i mind ya.......if its any conselation anyway tightlines i would recommend this spot too its cheap and u gotur own private area surrounded by grass/sand dunes and only 10r per person i think..........

thanks lads i was looking at the yatch club looks like we might get a few tents up near there and be able to fish as well

hi alan plenty of room to camp there near the yacht club but if it rains a few days before hand the fishing will be quite,the ray don't like too much fresh water,you better have a second spot in mind in case,i will give you a ring and let you know of a few more spots

ray fishing is not good in the dark at the white lady
