Fahan Beach Co Donegal

bobby, john, julie, lee, drew, jonny, joanha, brian, lee, willy.
10.00 am / 15.00
low tide 11.30 am

rain, hail, sleet, snow, windy.
sandeel, mackeral, squid crab.
pulley rigs and 2 hook cliped

2 thorn back rays 1 flounder, 1 collie

poor condition, joanha caught his ray about 12.30 it weighed 7.5lb. lee caught a wee flattie. he also got his first ray 5.5lb, well done lee. the other 2 fish under size.

Wat bait were the rays caught on??

Any specific tide this beach should be fished at??

Mine was caught on straight mackerel, not sure what the other one was caught on.

From what I have been told this beach fishes best over low water.

jonah caught his on 2 whole squid and i blanked again thats 9 tines in a dam row :evil: :evil: :lol:
and well done again lee...did it even scrap or could u even feel the fish usin the nitra

best fished either side of and at low water from the beach, makes it easier to hit and hold in the channel.
mackerel , sandeel generally best 2 baits, squid and rag and lug and razor and herring also have taken a few fish
