Free RNLI Online Training

#1 Post by Esox lunatic »

I thought the following link would be useful for boat anglers. It's a link to the RNLI Interactive Training Site.

http://www.rnliseasafety.org.uk/upload/ ... ng/nav.htm

Guess for a lot of you guys the information will be nothing new, but it could be a good refresher as there are interactive question and answer sections for each module.

Modules include: navigation, buoys and lights, first aid, emergencies, weather, tides and engine checks.

It's well worth a look.

Just got around to checking it out. Excellent visual/animated representation of how tides are caused - that animation is the best I've seen yet.

Just noticed this, nice one :) Looking to get an international licence so I can hire a boat in europe so I'm sure this would be good prelim training!
