Hi Guys,
Im thinking of buying a new lure rod for bass fishing.Im looking for something around 9 ft that casts up to 40 grams.I will be using a penn sargus reel.Ive seen okuma rods for 55 euro in anglers world and also mitchel rods on henrys tackle but thaught u guys might help me on this.Can anyone make any suggestions or reviews on rods u are currently using?

using the savager bushwacker excellent rod 15-50gr casting cannot fault it cost less than E100.

I have a 10ft Penn powerstix pro bass spin. Was a bit dubious about buying a 3 piece but its very handy for putting it in a rucksack for rockhopping. Its rated to 3oz which is handy as it can cast a ridiculous distance with a string of feathers and a 2oz lead! its well able to flick and work light plugs and spinners too. I find it a great rod for the price.
