#1 Post by andy k 85 »

People:On me todd

Duration:9:30-2:30

Tide:dropping

Weather:cool breeze

Bait:rag squid mac

Rigs:2/0 pennel pulley, 1 up 1 down

Results: 3 flounder 1 pup smoothie

Report:Decided to hit the beach and use up the bait I had left over from the boat comp in kilmore. landed on the beach bout 9:15 set up and was fishing away. tide was dropping away and the fish were gone with it. fishing was slow after bout an hour noticed a rattle on the pulley so reeled in to find to my surprise a pup smoothie. Delighted blank saved unhooked and returned to fight another day. all was quiet for a while again with the tide dropping hard, managed a flounder on the pulley rig with rag and squid. all in all it was a very quiet nite with two more flounder been picked up right on lw just as i was packing up. still nice to get out that bloody fox was down sneaking around me again
