Trawler in Youghal bay

Lads anyone know what the trawler is doing in youghal bay,I thought it was just after the mussel beds but it's up and down the sand bank all day at full tide

its at mussels its all the boat is fitted out to fish for some piece of machinery she is too

And Dundalk Bay and all the other bays and sandbanks around the country.

its been taking about 12 of those big tall canvas bags at a guess they must weigh about a ton each every day or 2 out of the harbour and its been at it about a month creadin lady is the name on the boat i think its paul barlows boat from dunmore. could be wrong but i think he put seed mussel down the last time he was here

Would'nt like to be eating those shellfish after the new waste treatment plant gets up and running,toxic waste and all that from the chemical factories .But sure if the EPA rekon its safe and it won't have leakages then thats good enough for me :roll: puke vomit.

not a problem the spanish or the french will smother them in garlic never know the difference :lol:

I'm assuming its off the Slob bank and Ferrypoint that is being trawled??Thats a lot of Mussels leaving the area I can only imagine the other species being picked up...... such as the the plentiful toilet paper and the less plentiful and less welcome ladies hygiene products! Otherwise known as the 'Ah for fook sake fish!'
