how to remove shrink tubing from the butt of the rod?

as above lads how do i remove shrink tubing from my butt its red and just in your face not a fan of it at all want to remove it an put some plain black diamond shrink tubing on

lightly score with a stanley blade, not touching the blank, and rip!

cheers man im gonna go at it now i was thinking that but was afraid id score the rod but il take my time

sure if your going to cover it up again with more shrink tubing, i wouldnt be that worried about it

sure if your going to cover it up again with more shrink tubing, i wouldnt be that worried about it

thats true,i got it done anyway got a start on it with a 1inch blade an pulled it off now for new diamond shrink wrap an adjustable reel seat
