Glenarm Breakwater - 29 March 06

#1 Post by glengormley-gavin »

People: Me, myself and I

Duration: 19.00 - 23.30

Tide: HT 23.15

Weather: Started bright and clear, ended wet and miserable

Bait: rag & Mack

Rigs: Long snood clip down for distance, 3 hook scratcher in close

Results: 1 x coalie& 1 x Doggie

Report:

Had a lecture cancellation at college last night, the missus was on a works do and I managed to score some ragworm at 5.30pm- RESULT!!!!

Headed to Glenarm and had a very busy night but without much fish to show for it :x

Almost every cast resulted in some heavy bites but no takers, I was using fine wire size 1 hooks but the fish just wouldn't take the hook!!!!

Caught the coalie close in and then got the doggie at distance - it put up a great fight and it took me a while to get it in, very lively and great fun.

Glad to see the dogs coming back - roll on summer :D :D

Oh and by the way - the light is still working although it looks a bit wonky........

Lee - are there any casting obstructions at Downhill?

I said I'd let you have a chuck with the Kompressor but I'm having second thoughts after Monday :? :? :? :?
