People: Just me!

Duration: 16.00 - 19.30

Tide: Incoming

Weather: Blustery Showers

Bait: Rag, lug, sandeel, crab

Rigs: Wishbones, flappers, clipped downs

Results: 3 dab, 1 flounder, 1 whiting.

Report:

Left Dublin at 2pm with the sun shining and little or no wind. Got to the beach at 4pm with the rain pouring and wind howling! All thoughts of ray and plaice were put to the back of my mind when I got a look at the sea, a fairly big surf and water chocolate brown. Was plagued with floating weed around the line the whole time I was there. Finished up with a few small fish for my troubles but had to leave when I did because there was no beach left! The tide rose right up to the dunes. Dissapointed with the weather but thats this time of the year for you.

Unlucky Sean,

Funny the weather being like that. Normally it improves when you go south.

A few fist for your troubles though.
