that was my first thought when i saw it, altho not necessarily them languages.

Thats good to hear Jim and hopefully they will have the desired effect of informing all anglers and the public of the rules around bass.Strange really as i had been speaking to a friend the other day regarding how many of the original signs are still in place ,i know i have'nt seen a single one down in east cork in years

I remember meeting Romanians on my local river,the club had made up signs which were in polish Romanian etc.,the Romanians were standing two foot away from one of the signs,they didn't give a damn ,so I asked them to leave and was told "f" off,so not to be defeated I told the "anglers" that the club chairman was a Garda sargent in Balbriggan and then pretended to make a phone call,that had the desired effect but in hindsight I think I took a risk we need real policing of the fisheries,I'm sure they didn't stay away too long and went back to killing tiny trout

great to see some of them in place around wexford. Only shame is a sign wont stop many people just give stronger grounds for prosecution for anyone caught.

Fair play to ye, done similiar myself!

Sign is a great Idea, it should have Russian on it tho, as most of the East Europen lads I know through work can read / speak Russian

I might be a little over negative here but does anyone else think that this is not the Greatest idea in the world?

All it will serve to do is paint a bullseye on our bass as wherever one of those signs are to be seen it means Bass are there to be Caught/Netted
