Killiney Beach

#1 Post by IDPearl »

Three of us fished Killiney Beach - Sunday 30 May 04. 07:30 to 11am
Rag, squid, mussel & lug
Alan was there first and landed two doggies - one of which was retrieved by a golden retriever about 10 minutes later!
I missed a good bite due to excitement of seeing the rod tip go over
Apart from the crabs, that was about it!
Then the rain came  Stood there for a while until the next downpoor loomed and thought better of it.

Maybe next time.......
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

I was fishing there last weekend and also landed a couple of doggies, not bad in size though.I find the small dabs a nuisance as they keep robbing the bait  ,might head off to greystones south beach this Friday if the weather ever turns into Summer again
