Tide:low and on the fill

Weather: cool southeasterly

Bait: mack,lug ,squid etc

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:flounder,coleys,3bearded rockling




Report: myself and polaris decided to hit the local beach at ross,dug a few lug and procured some macks
and wrapped up well, tide was fully out and a big strand faced us ,no gullies to target so we picked a clean patch with no washed up weed , few bites early on at dusk produced a few small flounders ,then a few more coleys all about 20cm,
the tide was racing in and we were in reverse every cast ,polaris landed a nice 40cm flounder as soon it was in i landed a
32cm flnder ,more coleys for the next hour and a mix of flounders 30cms and smaller ,we were kept buzy just aswell as it was bitter cold ,it quietened down for the last hour an half ,so we called it a day ,
not bad for a frezn january day ,

yea thanks for the replies,must get out more often ,what about those elusive cod! jamie we'l have to give it ago this week,

got a few behind bellmullet a few years back on a low ledge mark,deep water,we could give that a whack soon,,,,i no plenty cliff marks wher they are too,,,,,but i havnt got the head for that anymore,,,,,,we,ll keep low i thinks dennis,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but mayby
