Anybody got any good reports or known good locations in cork for bass???

I think you will find it even harder to get any info on the bass front in cork from now on due to the recent spate of netting along the beaches down east,and id be suprised if after only a second post that the current hot spots[if any left] will be passed over easily,you may have to be a bit patient. :wink:
Best advice i can give you is look at the shore marks /maps that have bass as a caught species and give it a lash,you may get lucky.Not the greatest time of year to be starting out but with the weather been so mild you'd never know.

Hi lads when would be a good month to start im thinking of doing a bit of lure fishing this year

bass are about 95% gone now from the shallows, but they are out deeper!
So a lure would be ineffective on the whole, but a smelly bait on a falling tide might get the scent out to deeper waters.
