Fish ID please

Hi Guys,

I was out fishing on Dun Laoghaire West Pier today and My mate & I caught these two fish. They are quite small, I think they look like pin whiting or maybe coalies. Could anyone help ID them?

SPECIES 2011: (7) Dogfish, Mackerel, Cod, Pollock, European Eel, Common Blenny, Pin Whiting

SPECIES 2012: (7) Whiting, Coalie, Pollock, Mackerel, Ballan Wrasse (32cm x2, 34cm, PB 38cm) , Corkwing Wrasse, Three-Bearded Rockling

SPECIES 2013: (1) Ballan Wrasse (2)

Whiting of the Pin variety i'd say

Species '20 (14) 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Codling, Whiting, Pollock, Coalfish, Pouting, Corkwing Wrasse ,Ballan Wrasse, Poor Cod, Dab ,Smoothhound,Flounder, Thornback Ray

Yep its a whiting.

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

you should invest in a pair of gloves your hands look cold
