October 11th
Headed out to my local mark to try a spot of spinning but when I arrived the sea was to rough

but did find a sheltered place & try for Wrasse so baited up & dropped down along the rock edge & was in to a nice Ballan after a good scrap landed a nice fish just over the two pound mark which was followed by six more all around the same size & one better fish near the end which give a great account of itself,a fine coloured wrasse of 3.5 lb

November 2nd
Another short session not much about apart from a few Pollock best slightly over two pound & one lone Mackerel which tasted great

November 8th
Had a few hours to kill this morning so headed for a Wrasse session to see if I could coax one or two out of there rocky homes

before they head off to the deeper water for the winter

Hopes were low as they had gone by the end of October last year

Baited up with usual good auld Limpet & missed a good fish on the first drop she got free at the surface but apart from two small ones after that it wasn’t looking good

so I went for a walk to pass some time & wait for tide to fill a bit more before giving it one last go...after half an hour I went back & the wrasse were hitting the bait hard lost some great fish id say around the 5ish pound mark but did land one fine wrasse of 4lb... happy days
