is that true you cant catch cod from the beach in day light

It all depends on depth and water clarity,but they could turn up anytime anywhere

Hi Varadero,

In the muddy estuaries along the south coast you will catch cod in the day light, the water is so coloured from the mud that day light or dark makes little difference.
But on the open beach the water clarity is usually much higher and Imo you will stand a better chance of of cod after dark.

darkness rules but deep water marks do the business in daylight.....piers +harbours +steep to beaches ect..overcast cloudy days do the bis..... :( :) :D :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

i live i tramore so its sandy beaches and shallow
